Pixelwiz has been into digital image work almost from the beginning of that concept. If you were to fire up the Wayback Machine with Mr. Peabody and his boy, Sherman, and do some time traveling into the past, you'd find us slaving over one of the very first Leaf Systems film scanners, digitizing and transmitting our photographs from NCAA college basketball tournament games on tight deadlines. Things have certainly changed (a lot!) since then...
Return from those Digital Dinosaur Days to the present, and you'll still find Pixelwiz working with images and computers. With our high-resolution film scanner, we can scan, tone, clean and retouch images to your specs. Pixelwiz can combine images (or elements of different images), place logos onto images of items or buildings to make it appear that logo was there in the first place, or even perform "emergency surgery" on an image that needs serious help.

This image was put together for an article on kids surfing the internet unsupervised. The kid and the woman were photographed separately, then placed into a reversed "computer screen" graphic.
In nearly every advertisement for a television, there's a tiny line of print stating "simulated picture" -- or words to that effect. How is that picture simulated? By adding it into the original product shot of the TV. Here's a "before and after" example.
There wasn't a way for the photographer to properly light, expose and place the models at the actual location chosen as the background for this shot, so the photographer did two separate images: one of the models, one of the cityscape. The client then had Pixelwiz combine the two shots to finish the photograph.

The client wanted their logo put onto the building in this photograph, so Pixelwiz took care of that for them.

Here's an example of what fluorescent lights can do to an image. Ick. That nasty green color cast has got to go, and that's just what Pixelwiz did for this client. We can do all kinds of image color correction, toning and cleaning.
